Epoxy floor coating
Two or more rolled coats over a primer. A sealed, dust-free, easy-clean surface.
Best forLight to medium traffic: stores, workshops, garages.

High-build epoxy
Thicker coats that hide minor surface marks and take more wear.
Best forForklift aisles, production areas.

Self-levelling epoxy
Poured and spread to a smooth, flat, seamless finish, typically a few millimetres thick.

Epoxy screed
A trowelled epoxy mortar, much thicker and more impact-resistant than a coating.
Best forHeavy traffic, impact and point loads.

Anti-slip finish
Aggregate broadcast into the wet coat to add grip where floors get wet or oily.
Best forRamps, wash bays, wet process areas.

Water-based epoxy
Low-odour epoxy for occupied indoor spaces. We used one as the underlay for rubber matting at a Sandton gym.

How the system is built.
Three steps, each with a job.
- 03Top layerBody coat and topcoat. Epoxy at the thickness the floor needs, from 1 mm. A gloss or satin finish that is easy to keep clean.
- 02Primer systemEpoxy primer soaks in and seals the concrete.
- 01Surface prepDiamond ground to open the surface. Cracks filled.

Can you coat over an old floor coating?
Usually the old coating is diamond ground off first, so the new system bonds to sound concrete. We check this on the site visit.
