Main contractors

What gets in the way.

The problems we hear most, and the ones we plan the job around.

  1. Flooring scopes that are vague until the floor fails
  2. Surprises in the substrate halfway through the job
  3. Unclear payment terms and variations
  4. A subcontractor who leaves the area dirty

How we work with you

No surprises.

Site visit, written specification and quote, then the work.

  1. Scope in writing. The quotation is based on the scope and site conditions it describes, with the system, the build-up and the included scope listed.
  2. Variations stated up front. Additional work, repairs, access requirements, standing time or unforeseen substrate conditions are treated as a variation and priced separately.
  3. What we need from site. Suitable access, a safe work area, suitable working conditions and uninterrupted access to the work area.
  4. Quantities confirmed on site. Quoted prices are subject to confirmation of final quantities and site measurements.
  5. Payment terms. A 75% deposit before procurement and mobilisation, the remaining 25% on completion and handover, unless agreed otherwise in writing. The deposit covers materials, site establishment and P&Gs.
  6. Warranty wording. Coating materials are warranted against manufacturing defects under the manufacturer's written warranty and product data sheet. The exclusions are listed in the quote.
