For plants planning a shutdown.
Floor repairs and coatings done while the site is closed, planned before the shutdown starts.

Shutdowns
What gets in the way.
The problems we hear most, and the ones we plan the job around.
- Floors and joints that only get fixed when production stops
- A short shutdown window with no time to lose
- Bunds, sumps and trenches that need relining while they are empty
- Safety lines that must be redone before the site starts up
How we work with you
No surprises.
Site visit, written specification and quote, then the work.
- A site visit before the shutdown. We look at the floor, the traffic, the chemicals and how long each area will be closed, then send a written specification and quote.
- Materials ready before you close. Accept the quote before the shutdown: the 75% deposit covers materials and site establishment, so procurement happens before your site closes.
- Repairs first, then the coating. Cracks, broken joints and damaged concrete are repaired and the surface is diamond ground before anything is coated.
- The right system for the window. MMA cures fast, so it fits a short shutdown. Where there is more time, epoxy, polyurethane or PU screed is specified for the use.
- Done in areas. The work can be split into areas, with the most urgent first, and planned around the days your site is closed.
- A clean handover. Final inspection, housekeeping and handover: a clean site, ready to start up.

Questions
Good to know.
When should we book shutdown floor work?
Before the shutdown starts. The site visit, the written quote and the deposit come first, so materials can be procured before your site closes.
What can be done in a short shutdown?
It depends on the floor, the system and the time available. MMA cures much faster than epoxy or polyurethane, so it suits short windows. We specify it after the site visit.
Can you repair only the worst areas now?
Yes. Cracks, broken joints and damaged patches can be repaired on their own, and the floor can be coated later.
What do you need from us on site?
Safe, uninterrupted access to the work area and suitable working conditions while we work.
